Here is how to make chole:
Soak 3/4 cup chickpeas overnight. Cook for 6 whistles in pressure cooker (enough water to submerge). Add these ingredients: cumin, mustard seeds, chili, garlic, ginger, onion. Fry the onions for a while. Add 2 fat tomatoes. Add salt if desired. Cook with lid on for a while. Add turmeric, cumin powder and coriander seed powder. Add the chickpeas, carrot, celery, etc. Cook until the vegetables are cooked. Add lemon.
Notes: I should add some more coriander/cumin powder next time.
